The Pomerantz Foundation and the West Island Women’s Centre
Over the years that followed its creation in 1991, the Pomerantz Foundation has extended its support to more than 30 non-profit organizations, the majority of which work with children and their families in need. Let’s point out that under the impetus of Terry Pomerantz, the Foundation is also strongly involved with the West Island Women’s Centre.

- Mother and baby yoga;
- Coaching of newcomers to facilitate their social integration and employability;
- Dealing and coping with separation or divorce;
Support groups for new mothers; - Several fitness activities such as Zumba, Pilates and prenatal fitness.
Let’s add that the West Island Women’s Centre offers daycare services as well as more specialized group support services for women who are divorcing and mothers who miscarried or suffer from post-partum depression.

The Centre also holds specialized workshops in 12 local francophone and anglophone high schools. These workshops are aimed at teenager girls and cover several very relevant topics such as the safe use of social media and Internet, teen sexuality as well as self-defence.
The Pomerantz Foundation: over $5,000,000 to fight discrimination and poverty
Encouraged by Terry Pomerantz, the son of its founder and its primary administrator, the Pomerantz Foundation intensifies its engagement on all fronts where the thirty organizations it supports fight poverty as well as social, sexual, cultural, religious and racial discrimination.
Since its creation by Saül Pomerantz, the Pomerantz Foundation has raised more than $5,000,000 to support these organizations in their tireless battle to make our world better!
All profits raised by the Pomerantz Foundation are donated in full to the organizations it supports. None of its volunteers receive any kind of pay or other benefits. The utter selfless dedication of these volunteers frees the Foundation from having to pay any kind of costs.
Entrepreneur and prominent figure in Montreal's real estate and manufacturing sectors, Terry Pomerantz approaches every aspect of life with heart and character. At the helm of Domfoam and T.R.A.M.S Property Management, he carries on his late father's legacy while dedicating his philanthropic commitment to the Pomerantz Foundation, which has been actively supporting children's causes since 1991.
