More and more families and children in need
There are unfortunately increasing numbers of families and kids in need. Food banks such as the one from Sun Youth are having a hard time meeting this increasing demand. On Radio-Canada, Bob le Chef stated a few months ago that “since 2013, the demand for meals had increased by 50% in food banks”.
What is more, the 2019 Hunger Count shows that an increasing number of people who are employed call upon food banks. 58.5 % of the study respondents are between 18 to 64 years old and are part of the active population.
Sun Youth: food baskets.
Sun Youth’s Annual Holiday Campaign is taking place until December 24. The volunteers at Sun Youth will distribute food baskets to 5,000 disadvantaged families in Montreal. Sun Youth needs help to achieve this mission. Terry Pomerantz and the Pomerantz Foundation invite you to contribute generously.

The light of sick children
The Holidays are, more than ever, the right time for Starlight to be there for sick kids! For Starlight, this is about allowing them to receive a present, as simple as it may seem, which will bring them a little comfort to give them the strength to continue fighting their illness. On top of that, sick kids are often the ones who bring fresh hope to their parents. They are their light!
Support a cause that you’re passionate about!
No matter which cause you support, the important thing is not the amount you give. What’s important is to support a cause that you love! And families and kids who need it will appreciate your gesture!
